Limited reissue of the Tamiya 1/48 scale P-51B kit with decals to mark it as Lt. Francis Horne's "Snoot's Sniper" in either full invasion stripes as it appeared in June, 1944 or in the partial stripes still remaining in August of that year.
Includes one standing and two seated pilots, standard and Malcolm hood canopies and paint masks for the canopies and fuselage (to properly demarcate the blue on the cowl).
Note however that the masks for the Malcolm hood would leave a painted frame on the leading and trailing edges of the sliding hood, whereas on the actual item this was merely rolled, unpainted plexiglass. See box photo or art for marking details.
