1/288 Hydra Parasit Fighter from Captain America The First Avenger
From Fantastic Plastic
CODE: FPL001
The Design
2011's "Captain America: The First Avenger" featured numerous "Luft '46"-style aircraft based on actual designs developed by both Germany and the United States during the early 1940s. This included the Parasit fighter, which incorporated features of the Sombold So.344, the Focke-Wulf Triebflugel and several "pusher" fighters developed during the era.

The "Parasit" was carried in groups of eight aboard Hydra's gigantic Flying Wing.  Designed by Daniel Simon for Marvel Comic's 2011's "Captain America: The First Avenger,"it carried an atomic bomb in its nose. The pilot would jettison the nose near its target and -- and this is the tricky part -- somehow fly the nose-less plane back to the Flying Wing. How that would be aerodynamically possible was never explained.
