Back to Panic Wall
The developer of Stellar Blade advises fans to be gentle with the demo.

With Stellar Blade's launch date looming, fans are diving deep into the demo to hone their skills before the game's full release. However, Shift Up, the developer behind the title, has expressed concern as some players are clocking in over 50 hours of playtime in the demo alone. While grateful for the enthusiasm, Shift Up has urged fans to "go easy" on the demo, fearing that excessive grinding may disrupt the balance of the full game, as progress carries over.

The prolonged engagement with the demo can be attributed to two main motivations. Some players seek to mitigate the game's anticipated difficulty by grinding extensively, aiming to streamline their experience and overcome potential challenges. Conversely, there are those who relish in the game's tough nature and actively seek to intensify their experience. Game director Kim Hyung Tae's suggestion to outfit the protagonist, Eve, in more clothing as a means to increase the game's difficulty has been interpreted as a challenge by certain players.

This challenge has sparked a wave of dedicated players attempting impressive feats, such as completing no-hit runs while wearing the minimalistic 'Skin Suit' attire. The fervent engagement with the demo showcases the passion and dedication of Stellar Blade's fanbase. As the launch date of April 26 approaches, Shift Up hopes to translate this enthusiasm into the success of the full game.
