Since Sauron's arrival in Dol Guldur, the surrounding Greenwood had become a place of fear and darkness. Corrupted by the Necromancer's influence, it had come to be known by the new name of Mirkwood. However, the shadow that had grown over the forest had not gone unnoticed by the sages. To keep his return to Middle-earth a secret, Sauron fled east, and his influence over the forest waned in the years that followed, and Dol Guldur fell into ruin.
This terrain set contains six complete Ruins of Dol Guldur plastic sets, themed around the crumbling fortress of Dol Guldur, the Hill of Sorcery, on the southern edge of Mirkwood.
These kits include statues, ladders, metal doors, dead trees and clumps of vines, as well as creepy skulls and skeletal remains. The individual pieces in all six kits are fully modular, so they can be assembled in a variety of ways to create your own unique pieces of scenery. This box gives you enough pieces to build a truly imposing building, fill a battlefield with a wide variety of ruins, or a bit of both, and it will also save you money compared to buying the content separately.
This terrain set consists of an incredible 816 pieces. This scenery is supplied unpainted and requires assembly. We recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Paints.
