One of the challenges of the Estancian Gray Zone is the ruins that jut from the sands like broken, rotted teeth. Such ruins are obvious hideouts for marauders and worse, yet can be difficult to penetrate given the crumbling terrain and plentiful hiding places. So it was that Agurtan scientists developed the Scorpion Laurel LAA3s. The Scorpion’s lightweight frame and four legs give it unparalleled maneuverability, allowing it to occupy the commanding heights in ruined territory and then rain down fire from above to allow the men and women of the 88th to move in and secure a base of operations. Once a safe zone has been established, the Scorpion is more than capable of acting as a guard, being able to patrol across any sort of difficult terrain. With the help of the Scorpion, the commanders of the 88th hope to be able to be able to decisively strike out and finally claim the riches of the Estancian ruins in the name of the Agurtan Federation.
