A large and very challenging kit of the Firebird, Pontiac's 'pony car'. The second generation of this popular sports car came on the market in 1970 and was in production for 11 years. In 1979, the grille was again redesigned and the two pairs of headlights were now separated by a plastic bulkhead. The 1979 Firebird became the best-selling model of the entire line. The top model was then the Trans Am. The latter owed its notoriety and popularity to, among other things, appearances in various films.
