From "Kamen Rider 555" comes Masato Kusaka, the young man that transforms into Kamen Rider Kaixa, now available from S.H. Figuarts!
A first for the S.H. Figuarts Heisei-era Kamen Rider series is this intricately sculpted figure of the No. 2 rider in his pre-transformation form. Scans were taken of Kohei Murakami, the actor who plays Masato Kusaka in "Kamen Rider 555", to accurately replicate his facial structure, expressions, and body proportions. Paired with the materials of the time, this figure captures the essence of Masato Kusaka as he was during the show's original airing (2003).
By using soft parts for parts of the clothing and the abdomen, we have ensured a range of motion that can be used for various actions. The head is also painted using Tamashii Digital Coloring to reproduce facial shading and expressions in great detail.
Also included is the Kaixa Driver, a belt that can be attached to Masato Kusaka's body, and the Kaixa Phone, which can be set on the Kaixa Driver. A number of exchangeable hand parts are also included for use with the Kaixa Phone, including one for pressing the keypad and one for holding it up during the transformation scene. Each hand part was created based on scans of Kohei Murakami's hands, right down to the backs of his hands and fingertips for impressive realism.
Also included is an effect sheet re-creates the Double Stream that appears during transformation, and when paired with the glaring face parts, you can create your own version of the transformation sequence into Kamen Rider Kaixa.
There is also an expression for when he shows his trademark "Kusaka Smile", as well as hand parts for when he wipes his hands with wet tissue, so you can even create your own scenes that embody the spirit of Masato Kusaka.
