After the first Mortal Kombat game became a cultural phenomenon, Midway knew they had to up the ante for it’s eagerly anticipated follow-up. The mythology they created had resulted in many dynamic characters, but none intrigued gamers more than their Blue and Yellow Ninjas.
One thing was clear. Mortal Kombat II needed more where Scorpion and Sub-Zero came from.
And so it was that in 1993 millions of swooning fans were introduced to the their female counterparts, Kitana, Princess of Edenia, and Mileena, her evil twin.
John Tobias and Ed Boon had done it again.
Relying on her trademark Steel Fans in battle, Kitana's deadly combos were quickly mastered by top tournament players, her airborne moves and melee throws establishing her as one of the top kombatants in the game.
At 10,000 years old, Princess Kitana looks at least 1/500 her age, but she’s much more than just her beauty. As Shao Kahn’s stepdaughter, she has been a key figure in Netherrealm’s overarching storyline from her debut, a leader charismatic enough to sway both Goro and Sindel to her cause and an army to follow her through the hell of Outworld.

No expense is spared on the PCS third scale line, and this is no exception.
Based on her appearance in 2011’s Mortal Kombat 9, Kitana’s cerulean-colored cropped bustier is laced together with real cross strings, hand-stiched and fitted like her long flowing loincloth, with a choice of masked and unmasked heads, each with dangling earrings. Holding her distinct deadly blue steel fans, her royal countenance lords over a display base modeled on her lush, idyllic Edenian homeworld, complete with translucent water.
