Another in Kotobukiya’s excellent selection of models based on the recent Rebuild of Evangelion movies, Evangelion Test Type-01: Awake Ver. allows you to recreate the moments where Eva Unit-01 is reaching its full potential. As such, the set supplies you with three head parts––normal version, awakened version, and one from late in the film––as well as two chest parts, alternate arms including the energized left arm, and of course the Eva’s halo.
In another cool feature, you can also open and close the robot’s mouth and remove the entry plug from the figure’s back. Eva Test Type-01’s eyes, jaw, chest armor, halo, and support parts have also been cast in clear plastic for a more realistic effect too! The most iconic of all the mecha in the Evangelion universe, Eva Unit-01 piloted by Shinji Ikari is finally available in this fantastic “awake” version from Kotobukiya.
