Hexa Gear is a lineup of items from Kotobukiya featuring transformable battle mecha! It features the amazing Modeling Support Goods (M.S.G) hexagonal joint system, with a 3mm support pipe hole. Thus, weapons from Frame Arms and Heavy Weapons units can be used with Hexa Gear mechs! The Hexa Gear can also be ridden by their pilots, known as "Governors," sold separately.
The Load Impulse, a third-generation Hexa Gear developed by EarthKline Biomechanics, was the prototype of the Rayblade Impulse. Movable thrusters on the left and right side of its fuselage are used for position control during jumping rather than acceleration, and this version features a long articulated limb on the back known as a "trick blade." It acts as a sort of prehensile tail, and is extremely flexible and strong, equipped with claws on the end for grasping.

Feature:
-The characteristic tail part "Trick Blade" features a all-direction flexibly movable structure. By that you can created various mechanic beast-like poses. The tip of the tail has open/close claws which can hold small weapons.
Each joint of the tail is linked by a dia. 3mm axis. It is possible to create an infinity link by using several tail joints and linking axis.
-The mounter "Hound Bite" on the mouth part which is holding a stick-shaped extension part, features an open/close function. Items such as the separately sold weapon set 06 Samurai Master Sword can be held by the mounter.
-The included Chain Gun and automatic grenade launcher can also be used on the separately sold "Rayblade Impulse" if the ammo boxes are detached.
-The "Strike Edges" on the back of front legs feature 2-levels extension structure. They can be sheathed and hidden without using alternative parts. Moreover the edges are attached by dia. 3mm axis therefore they can be used on Frame Arms figures too.
-The Chain Gun can be used as a weapon of Governors by putting it on the attachment part. The angle of the Chain Gun can be adjusted when it is on the attachment part.
-Thanks to the newly designed joint parts (waist attachment joints, rear legs joints, etc.), this "Load Impulse" has a superior articulation range than the "Rayblade Impulse". And of course, those new joint parts can be used on the separately sold "Rayblade Impulse".
-It can transform into the "Vehicle Mode" from the combat form "Zoatex Mode".
