This one is numbered and also noted as a very rare Marvel Sample on the bottom of the base of only which a handful exist. Warren Worthington III, the child of privilege better known as the Angel, was the most carefree member of the original X-Men. Imagine his teammates' dismay when, after his natural wings were clipped and replaced by razor-sharp mechanical ones, Warren reappeared as the Archangel, a loyal acolyte of the tyrant Apocalypse. Under Apocalypse's control, Archangel became an enemy of the X-Men, but later flew free of his dark master and reconciled with his friends. Archangel's feathered wings eventually returned, but his cavalier attitude did not. He is now solemnly dedicated to fighting alongside the X-Men, using his impressive 16-foot wingspan and his imperviousness to high winds and velocities. Archangel also devotes his immense wealth to championing for mutant rights.
