Of course, Apollo 11 is one of the most famous spaceflights of all time, as it was this mission that put man on the Moon for the first time on 20 July 1969. Millions of TV viewers around the world watched with bated breath as astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin Jr descended to the Moon in LM Eagle, while Michael Collins orbited overhead in Columbia. Later, Armstrong and Aldrin then used the ascent stage of the LM to rendezvous with Columbia before their spacecraft safely returned to Earth.
This pre-assembled and pre-painted item in Dragon’s Space Collection is made perfectly to 1/48 scale. It shows the Apollo 11 Lunar Module as well as a space-suited astronaut, as though Eagle had recently touched down on the lunar soil.
