DID D80149 1/6 WWII German U-Boat Stabsober Mechaniker / Stabsbootsmann - Johann
Brief Introduction:
U-Boat was a very powerful German submarine during the WWII. It operated in groups and attacked the merchant ships and convoys. By March 1943, German succeed in cutting the Britain’s Atlantic lifeline by using the wolf pack tactics.
Johann is the U-Boat Stabsober Mechaniker, who is responsible for the maintenance of the U-Boat's machineries, which included the engines, motors, batteries, and other mechanical systems. He has a slim face but his eyes are bright and piercing. He usually wears the plaid shirt and blue sweater when he is on mission in the U-Boat.
To keep warm, he is in the foul weathered U-Boat deck jacket and pants with black life jacket on top when he is on board controlling the morse lamp. U-Boat side cap is on his head at that moment.Of course, he looks great when in German Kriegsmarine officer uniform and officer's visor cap.
All the outfits are with good cutting and just fit perfectly. The U-Boat deck jacket and pants are made of genuine leather. Insignias for German Kriegsmarine Stabsbootsmann are included for Johann as well. You could switch the one of Stabsober Mechaniker on the straps.
