The Gaisoulken is the transformation device and main weapon for the mysterious knight, Gaisoulg. It is a retool of the Ryusoul Ken, and as such retains similar, if not entirely the same, functions of the Ryusoulken.
From Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger, the Gaisoulken -Memorial Edition- used by Nada (portrayed by Seiya Osada) and Gaisoulg (voiced by Tomokazu Seki) is now available!
This product has been updated from the DX version in terms of size and voice recording. The product size has been renewed from the DX version’s length of about 380 mm to about 700 mm. The size and balance is closer to the image in the TV series by making the blade and grip part MEMORIAL specification. In addition, decorations such as the blade and the dinosaur’s face, which were molded colors in the DX version, have been changed to paint for a more realistic appearance. To transform, the user inserts the Gaisoul, pulls the lever down, then presses the button to transform. Pulling the lever again will activate the finisher.
It also has multiple dialogue options, namely: Gaisoulg Dialogue Mode, Nada’s Early Appearance Mode (based on Nada’s appearance in episodes 26-32, and Nada’s Final Appearance Mode (based on Nada’s appearance in episodes 32-33). Tomokazu Seki and Seiya Osada returns to reprise their roles as Gaisoulg’s main voice and Nada respectively. The Nada Gaisoulg also has three BGM options that you can play while the dialogue mode is still on. Nada’s special message, and a special 7-man Ryusoulger transformation and roll call sequence, which isn’t show canon, is also part of the item as well. The Kanae Soul (Wish Soul) is also included, making this the first time it is available. This set is not guaranteed to work with the DX Ryusoulken (or any other product with a “Ryusoul Compatible” label).
The set comes with: the Gaisoulken, the Gaisoul, the Kanae Soul, and a User’s Manual. The Gaisoulken measures a height of approx. 185 mm x width of approx. 700 mm x diameter of approx. 90 mm while the Gaisoul and Kanae Soul each measure a height of approx. 53 mm x width of approx. 73 mm x diameter of approx. 34 mm. The Gaisoulken is made of ABS, PC, PVC, and PPA. The Gaisoul and Kanae Soul are made of ABS, PVC, and PP. It requires three AAA batteries (sold separately).
